My short but illustrious career (😁) as an apprentice tiler is coming to a close, it's been a push to get my renovations complete for my daughter and I to move, and for me to get back to the jewellery bench. I've fitted in a few appointments and moments to organise jewellery jobs but can't wait to really get in to your pieces without distraction. Life is always a balance running a business amongst parenting solo and all the other things that can get thrown in the mix - I appreciate you all, and with this huge personal undertaking done, I can shift my focus moreso to creating fabulous pieces for you 💖

The Queen is now ready for her audience.... Befitting the moniker, this piece was a number of months in the making, with the intricate detail something I needed blocks of time to focus on and bring to life. Fi's dream ring - using her 18ct yellow gold converted to 9ct Rose gold, her old cut diamonds set in the flower setting, and light champagne diamond in the main setting, adding some small diamonds across each outside ring, because who doesn't need more bling?? We got this one delivered just in time for the end of June - being the month of Pearl. This beauty has been on the brew for some time, and it finally came together in a wonderful way. The trick to this creation was making it hollow, as it was going to be wide to house the 12mm Broome Pearl. Making this as a solid ring would end up such a heavy piece. We incorporated a family ring in some new 18ct YG made from refined customer's gold, plus the 6 small diamonds from the same ring. This is the year of celebrating for my closest of friends, one big birthday after another. Kirsty is my oldest friend - technically I am one month older than her 🤣 - oldest in the sense that we have 45 years of knowing each other. She was my solid person throughout primary school, we lived around the corner from each other and did so much together - I felt like family at her celebration last weekend. We didn't go to the same high school but have managed to keep each other in our lives over the many iterations life throws at you. I cherish her immensely, like a sister.
